In recent years, she has been at the forefront of crafting modern Pop/RnB/Dance music, collaborating with some of Sri Lanka's most esteemed producers, and has been instrumental in transforming the country's English music scene practically overnight.
Her music has echoed across the globe since 2009, broadcasted by countless leading radio stations, featuring hit singles like "Runaway," "Get Up on My Feet," "Let It Go," "Worship My Body," "Takin’ It Off," "Shake That," and "Set You Free." "Runaway" was her debut single, gaining traction following a demo accepted by the prestigious radio programming company, Radio Express in Burbank, California.
Natasha Rathnayake has emerged as a household name in Sri Lanka, while also paving her path toward international stardom, rubbing shoulders with iconic figures in the music industry. In 2015, Natasha was honored as one of the few Asians invited to sit on the main jury panel of the "Pirogovsky Rassvet International Contest for Pop Singers" in Russia, a prestigious event that saw participation from over 30 countries.

In July 2019, Natasha graced BBC Radio 1 with her presence for an interview with Ashanti Omkar on the BBC Asian Network, where she discussed her music and introduced three of her latest singles.

In 2024, she was invited as one of the main judges for Simon Cowell’s international franchise "Got Talent: Sri Lanka," in collaboration with MBC Networks Pvt Ltd, and is currently part of the reality TV shooting schedule.
